I've never understood why people get so triggered at this feature. If you need to do something long, like take a phonecall or do #2, you quit out. If you need to do something quick, like get a drink or go to the bathroom, you just stand somewhere safe. i don't know about you paugus, but before I sit down to play, I make sure my real life needs are taken care of, or easily do-able for the next few hours. You can always just do what I've already said, and that is effectively a pause. None of that is hard, and I don't get why people get so mad over it.Īlso, I don't think not being able to have an official pause is "Interfering with real life obligations". I mean, quitting isn't that hard, and if you're on a mission, you just type /admin. Pausing doesn't seem like something that matters so much that it ruins the game if you can't do it. Great for a nose scratch or phone call, but not if you've got to do anything else with your pc.Īlso, I'd like to say that I've seen a discussion with this same topic, and I just don't get it. The game will stop as long as the popup is open.
